Gorgeous lined hand knit Anny Blatt design. Colors are primarily off whites with splashes of oranges, golds and greens. This piece was hand knit in strip sections as patchwork’s and then assembled.
I had a couture yarn store in the early 1980s. I knit this piece and have had it in storage all these years. It’s an amazing amount of work and the yarns are high quality. Guessing to purchase the yarns today the materials would be well over $500 alone. Labor? Well…unbelievable number of hours in the all the intarsia and finishing.
The materials in this are angora, mohair, cotton, linen, wool, lurex and the lining which is a poly.
Suggest dry cleaning.
